After hearing from a couple people, on BO....it seems an obituary for Mr.gem.mint has been posted. Aaron apparently ahead been in regular contact with damn near everybody in the hobby in regards to obtaining 03/04 Exquisite items.

RIP to the guy, he seemed to stoke a nervous flame on the majority of people he attempted to make deals with, me included.

I miss this place by the way.....

Confused

I never interacted with the guy. Sounds like he had his ups and downs on here and BO. RIP.

Do you guys have the obituary? What the hell happened? I know there was some uncertainty regarding him losing his cards from the hurricane. All of this seems incredibly strange.

Horrible. He sent me a text last weekend asking if I had any exquisites for sale. I didn't reply until Monday, at which time his mother texted me back from his phone saying he'd passed. Shocking and terribly sad to say the least... RIP Aaron.

I would completely agree. Incredibly strange is a good way to sum it up.

Don't turn your back on the sea, guys. Not even for a second.

Effing thing's stealing people's cards and selling them off. In pristine condition, too. Bastard.

RIP, he had an obsession with the 03/04 exquisite set. Everything from base /225 to Emblems of Endorsements. He expecially liked the few BGS 9.5 graded cards from the condition sensitive product. His obsession for the 03/04 set makes me feel like he was "early on board" for the future exquisite ship taking off. Sad that he isn't going to be around to see what the future demand holds for the holy grail UD product. RIP brother
