Oooooh, sh*t!!

I only had a handful of them cards growing up but what a classy design. I was too much of a little b*tch to ask my parents to buy me any packs. Not many cards gave a shine back then. If that set was more rare I'm sure it would have been a lot more popular. Good goin, balla.

Thanks man, that Yinka is a BEAST card. I agree, if these were serial numbered, people would be talking about how beautiful and iconic they are today. Amazing how much a serial number sways opinion, but a lot of the appeal in cards for many people comes from the hype factor and maybe not so much genuine appreciation, at least that's how it looks in the modern era of sports cards.

I'm still missing one of the Kemp spectralights, believe that sh!t?

As for the youtube videos, I embedded some on here before, I forget which threads though, but you can find the embed in one of those.

edit: here we go, remove the S in https

Check this - one of the nicest, most iconic cards out of this product. Yinka D. is dressed to the nines. I heard Tyra Banks and some other model chicks were throwing themselves at him back in the day, we can see why.

What were the inserts in 94/95 Topps? Stadium Club and Finest were both fantastic products that year, but I couldn't name a single insert from the regular product.

Never mind, I found a check list. The Super Sophomores were nice, but holy cow mundane inserts is an understatement. That is one lackluster year for Topps. They brought out the big guns the next two years though.

mdmille, yeah, the spectralights are really something else in my opinion, freaking love those cards and I think overall they're the winners of the product, although I am a big fan of the Franchise Future cards, there's a simple but attractive aesthetic about them.

can I be a mod too?, I don't think I've ever seen a punctuation mark in a user name before, but I'm glad you enjoyed the thread, Yinka Dare blesses all who come across his majestic presence.

bdownden, I'm way late, but yeah overall a lackluster product, minus the spectralight parallels and of course the Franchise Future cards which I really do enjoy.
