David Ortiz is incredible...
A three-run walk off Home Run to win the game...two walkoff's in the past 3 games and 5 for the year.
His stats are now:
.289 37 HR 105 RBI's 80 runs

I couldn't believe that Minny was letting him go for Doug Minkayvich (yes I know I spelled it wrong). I also can't believe I can't find any of his 97(?) Fleer RC's that I had quite a few of and that are probably now beat to hell and back...when the hell did that thing hit $30 BV?

Since 04 he is 11-14 in walkoff situations and has reached base in 16 of 19 walkoff situations.

I don't think Yankee fans care...they are injured too...

And they just signed Abreu to replace one of their injured outfielders. Yankees injuries have been more publicized but the Sox have more IMO.

The BoSox were really close to either having Andruw Jones or Roy Oswalt or Roger Clemens, so that would have helped.

All I am saying is that an injury is an injury, the BoSox just recently got worse.

The Foulke injury isn't that bad, Pappelbon came in and did MUCH better than Foulke was doing, Varitek and Wakefield recently went down, and Clement isn't anything special.

I still think that the Yankees have been worse off. Im more of a BoSox fan, but I admit the Yankees are having a hell of a season with all the injuries they had. Wasn't their starting multi-time all-star outfield hurt and all out for a while?

Still I think having Foule in middle relief would force out our crappy middle relievers. Papelbon doesn't get to pitch anymore because our relievers like Seanez/Hansen/Taverez and Delcarmen let the flood gates open.

Varitek is the injury that is going to cost them the most

BoSox will have another catcher in a week or less.

They will pick one up in a trade when waivers clear.
